"I Love You"
Wednesday afternoons are when I love to share what I call a "beauty-full quote" (a quote about beauty, as I believe beauty to be) on my Facebook page.
Today I'm not sharing a quote as much as I'm sharing a phrase that I hope you use often in your day. It's a simple phrase but carries with it so much transformational power for whomever (or whatever) it is directed towards.
The phrase is "I love you".
Recently I read the book "Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It" by Kamal Ravikant.... seriously... one of THE best books I've read in a very long time (and it's only 57 pages!) If you haven't read it yet, please do so. It really is transformative.
I've since moved onto another book about animal communication and read a paragraph that totally supports the whole concept of saying "I love you" (to yourself, to someone else, to your pet)
Here's what author, Pea Horsley, writes: "When a frequency moves
through a medium like water, air or sand, it impacts it. The work of Dr
Masaru Emoto demonstrates the effect of intentions on water. For
example, when viewing water under a microscope, if you say "I love you",
it will form a beautiful snowflake shape, but if you say "I hate you",
it becomes gnarled and loses its structure. This is yet another reason
why talking kindly and compassionately to animals (and humans) can have
such a healing effect on them. We mustn't forget that our human bodies
are about 65% water, so intentions do affect us."
I always tell our bunnies how much I love them. I always talk to them
with a soft, gentle voice. But ever since reading this.... well....
they've been flooded with "I love you... there's another snowflake", to
the point that I really do think they'll both turn into real
But isn't it just a beautiful thing that speaking with love and
compassion to anyone, human or animal, can have such an amazingly
beautiful impact? Isn't it amazing how powerful three little words can
be? Can you imagine the impact on your day, and on the day of others, if
you spent that day showing compassion and speaking kindly?
Start with yourself, start with your partner, start with your bunnies (or cats or dogs) and start every morning telling each and every one "I love you".
